THE WHAT? Sephora has appointed Sarah Boyd as Managing Director, UK, according to a report published by WWD. Boyd will take over from Sarah Miles, who is leaving the LVMH-owned specialty retailer to pursue an opportunity outside the company.
THE DETAILS Boyd joins the UK team from Sephora Asia where she serves as Managing Director, Southeast Asia and Oceania and will report to Sylvie Moreau, President of Europe and the Middle East.
THE WHY? Having joined Sephora in 2018, and held her current role since 2020, Boyd is an experienced MD. Moreau told WWD Boyd has been tasked with, “the fantastic challenge of writing the next page of our story in the UK. Together with our talented UK team, she will build Sephora into the UK’s most loved beauty community, starting with the opening of our first store in early 2023.”
