Kim Kardashian’s private equity firm bolsters leadership with Wall Street talent

THE WHAT? Kim Kardashian-owned private equity firm SKKY Partners has hired a slew of Wall Street financial industry professionals, including a new Chief Operating Officer Kaitlin May.

THE DETAILS The hires bring the company’s team to a total of nearly a dozen employees, with two identifying as LGBTQ and including six women.

May has previously worked for firms Apollo, Citigroup and Putnam Investments.

THE WHY? Co-founder Jay Sammons states that the company aims to surpass 15 employees by the end of the year, with a focus on an inclusive team.

“Kim and I have both experienced the power of diverse teams and highly inclusive cultures that bring the most impactful and creative thinking out of everyone,” he said.

“It’s the right way to make the best decisions, and the way we are building SKKY is no different.”
