THE WHAT? Croda has named Louisa Burdett as its new Group Finance Director, succeeding Jez Maiden who will retire from the company in 2023.
THE DETAILS Burdett joins Croda from her position as Chief Financial Officer of global aerospace, defence and energy component manufacturer Meggitt.
The finance executive has more than 10 years’ experience in the finance sector, and in order to ‘ease the transition’ will join Croda and the Board on 1 January 2023.
She will succeed Maiden as Group Finance Director on 13 March 2023, following Croda’s 2022 Full Year results at the end of February. Maiden will step down from the Board at the Annual General Meeting on 26 April 2023 and retire from the Company on 31 May 2023.
