THE WHAT? Chanel has expanded its travel retail presence by opening fashion and beauty spaces at Paris Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport, within Terminal One.
THE DETAILS According to a report by DFNI Frontier, Chanel has opened one boutique dedicated to its fashion, beauty and jewellery, with a second one opened in partnership with Lagardère and Aéroports de Paris that has a corner devoted to perfume, make-up and skincare.
The spaces are imagined as a stopover between flights or boarding. Located opposite each other, the spaces have been designed by architect Peter Marino.
THE WHY? The new boutiques highlight a show of commitment to travel retail as Chanel and other international brands prepare for a return to growth for the travel market.
