THE WHAT? Bed, Bath & Beyond has revealed that it has suffered a data breach, according to a report published by Reuters.
THE DETAILS The US retailer said that it had no reason to believe that any sensitive data had been accessed but that it was reviewing the situation to ensure that the hard and shared drives accessed did not contain any personally identifiable information.
THE WHY? Bed, Bath & Beyond said that one of its employees had been the victim of a phishing scam but that it was unlikely that the cybersecurity incident would have a material impact on the company.
